How I can help

Start with the problem
you need to solve.

For independent ASCs, health systems, and multi-site operators. Engagements can focus on a specific decision, a broader operational assessment, or hands-on leadership.

01 / PERFORMANCE

Improve an existing ASC

Understand what is limiting performance and where your team should focus first.

  • Block utilization, turnover, first-case starts, and staffing
  • Cost per case, supply and implant contracts, and contribution margin
  • Quality, accreditation readiness, and governance

Potential scope: An operational assessment with prioritized recommendations and an implementation plan.

02 / GROWTH & DILIGENCE

Evaluate your next move

Bring an operational perspective to a transaction, a new service line, or a surgeon’s transition into an ASC.

  • Operational and quality due diligence
  • Service-line evaluation and peer benchmarking
  • Clinical pathways, equipment, staffing, and preference cards

Potential scope: A review of operational risks and readiness, with recommendations for the decision or launch ahead.

03 / LEADERSHIP

Bridge a leadership gap

Keep operations moving when an administrator position is open or your team needs additional senior support.

  • Interim or fractional operational leadership
  • Coordination with physicians and clinical teams
  • Staff competency, onboarding, and operating standards

Potential scope: An agreed leadership remit, operating priorities, and a transition plan for the permanent team.

04 / FOR VENDORS

Understand the ASC market

Build your approach around how surgery centers purchase, operate, and make clinical decisions.

  • Purchasing processes and decision makers
  • Supply logistics and clinical workflow
  • Product positioning for the ambulatory setting

Potential scope: An operational review of your market approach and recommendations for engaging ASC buyers.

The story behind OLI

My grandmother’s initials.

I named OLI after my grandmother, Okunskaya Lubov Ivanovna. She guided me toward nursing. The purple African violet in the firm’s logo was her favorite flower.

After graduating from the Tashkent Medical Institute in 1955, she began her career as a physician. From 1965 to 1985, she led the Tashkent Municipal Medical School, named after P.F. Borovsky.

She oversaw the construction of a new nursing school from the ground up, revising standard school blueprints to create a building designed for clinical teaching. In our family, her Builder of Tashkent award is remembered for that work.

We also remember a World Health Organization commission’s visit to assess the school’s nursing education against international standards. Its favorable assessment was a source of lasting pride. In 1976, while leading the school, she received the title of Distinguished Medical Doctor of the Uzbek SSR.

Thousands of nurses trained under her leadership and went on to care for patients across several continents. Her belief in preparing nurses well continues to shape how I work with clinical teams today.
